Emma Ongman is an interdisciplinary artist interested in questioning structures of reality. She is currently inspired by the evolution of technology and its influence on human behaviour. By using a computer to create an imitation of a computer, Object No. 1 removes the technology from its original function and focuses on its materiality. Installed in a white room, the ambiguous space resembles the experience of spending time in the virtual world.
