Hidden Perspectives stems from the artist’s ongoing interests in the earth’s geomorphology. The exhibit invites the viewer to take a deeper dive into numerous landform processes which shape the world as we see it today. This body of work aims to provide the viewer with a new way of perceiving the world by sharing some geomorphic processes and landscapes through the lens of printmaking and photography.
Rage Room is the embodiment of feminine anger and struggles under the pressure of patriarchal standards and expectations. Zoe Dougherty aims to show the repression of female rage through exaggerated expressions and aggressive gestures, grabbing flesh and squeezing fluids to not only take charge of their body, but provides discomfort through chaos and lack of stability in order to regain control of womanhood. Rage Room is a love letter to furious and uncontrollable feminine people everywhere.
